In the rapidly evolving world of recruitment, there’s an increasing need for solutions that are both secure and efficient. This challenge invites you to develop a proof-of-concept employer portal that integrates Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and Verifiable Credentials (VCs) to meet this need.

The Goal

The goal is to create a platform that allows recruiters, HR teams, and recruitment agencies to:

  • Identify Suitable Candidates: Utilize credentials such as education and skill-based certifications to match candidates to roles effectively.
  • Verify Qualifications: Ensure the authenticity and applicability of candidate qualifications through secure identity verification.
  • Streamline Onboarding: Seamlessly manage the onboarding process by leveraging verified credentials, reducing administrative overhead and enhancing the candidate experience.
  • Innovate Training Paths: Develop new methods for creating tailored training paths based on verified skills, improving employee development and retention.
  • Facilitate a Two-Sided Market: Enable interaction between qualification issuers and recruitment firms, fostering a more connected and efficient recruitment ecosystem.
